Driven by Passion
Of all the words that could describe Megan, one that is most often used is passionate. Megan’s passion drives the actions in her life. Her passion for the arts and music drove her to learn multiple instruments, paint, quilt, and crochet. Her passion for learning led to two degrees in artistic fields, one in flute performance and one in arts administration. Her passion for personal growth leads her to seek out opportunities beyond school to engage with the industries and organizations around her.

Megan is driven to be successful in the endeavors she pursues. She is willing to put in the work and accomplish the tasks in front of her to the best of her abilities. Whether it is creating a tracking database for a music library, attending extracurricular conferences and events, or serving on a national student advisory council, Megan strives for excellence in all her actions.
Strives for Growth
Personal and professional growth are major values to Megan. She is grateful for many opportunities to develop her skills, attitudes, and experiences. The most difficult challenges in her life have resulted in the most growth, including performing two solo recitals in two years, selecting and beginning her graduate studies, and attending national professional networking conferences.

Art is beauty and joy for Megan. She is passionate about the arts’ ability to communicate with people and communities beyond language, and believes the arts heal hearts and souls like few other things can. She loves creating her own art and celebrating others’ creations.
